Another retro-gadget that was popular for awhile that really didn't make a lot of sense to me. I know Avon had them. I know that cause back then seems some woman on ever side of town sold Avon door to door. Don't know if you can still get soap on a rope or not but probably from some of those retro stores.

Avon sold soap on a rope and so did most all the department stores. Avon also use to sell these cute little cars that had mens colonge in them.

I remember getting my Father one of those cheap "hot lather" machines that heated his shaving cream. I thought that was the greatest gift.
